Some people know God more than an ordinary mind can think of. That higher level of the knowledge of God is often insurmountable for feeble minds. I don’t blame anyone, the one on the high ground or the laymen. It’s the level of thinking and understanding of God and himself. When we are ready for the blame game what we really miss is the point. It only hurts, never constructs.
For instance, rain to a farmer is an opportunity for irrigation and to thank God for a high productivity season. Someone who lives in a shanty home near the river can never appreciate the one who enjoy the beauty of the rain. He can never understand the consolation and peace of the one who walks in the rain to wash out the stress in his mind. But the one, who thinks higher, thinks not only the joy of the farmer, the sorrow of the homeless, the pain of one who lives in a shanty home but also shares the joy of one watching the beauty of rain or the bliss of the small plant that waited for the rain or the seed that sprouts its leaf into the open vast skies for the first time. It is his very knowledge that absence of rain is absence of life and the presence of rain is the refreshing of soul that makes his thinking higher than anyone else.
The minds of the some people are fashioned in such a way that they get exuberant as they read “The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard; yet their voice goes out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In the heavens he has set a tent for the sun, It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course, It rises at one end of the heavens, and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth”. (Psalms 19)
He cannot stop thinking of anything less. He is not used to it. His heart and mind is fashioned in such a way that anything less is unacceptable for him, a serious mistake for him. It takes away his sleep. It’s not only the rain but every single aspect of life that consoles, confronts, bothers or composes every single soul out there. He suffers with the one who suffers and rejoices with one who rejoices. But his mind moves from one soul to another like fingers that move from one bead to another and never inclined or biased to anyone. It is not that he is complicated about the knowledge of God, but his understanding of the unfathomed complexity of life is greater that he cannot join one side and deprive the other.
To acknowledge this someone needs tough mindedness and maturity and it is the many religious weaklings simply do not understand or is deprived of. For them many things are simply unimportant or unknown and this insignificance or oblivion divides the two. Unfortunately they give importance to things that they are related to and ignore the rest knowingly or unknowingly and make a wall between them. They boast on their little knowledge and become arrogant to those who disagree. This wall of suspicion, hate and envy rises up unless those who built the wall tear it down by themselves and until then this divide will stay and the blame game will go on.
The people who know God well, sees the sun itself and not the reflection of the sunlight on the moon. They know that God cannot be separated from any of these and that knowledge forces them to see and think and react to everything around them.
